God's Creation |
On the first day God created the cow.
God said, "You must go to the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves
and give milk to support the farmer. I will give you a life span of 60 Years."
The cow said, "That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for 60 Years. Let me have 20 Years and
I'll give back the other 40." And God agreed.
On the second day, God created the dog....

At the prodding of
my friends, I am writing this story. My name is Mildred
Hondorf. I am a former elementary school music teacher from
Des Moines, Iowa.
I've always supplemented my income by teaching piano
lessons-something I've done for over 30 years. Over the years
I found that children have many levels of musical ability.
I've never had the pleasure of having a protege though I have
taught some talented students....

idea of a good friend was the person who let you have the red
crayon when all that was left was the ugly black one.
In first grade your idea of a good friend was the person who
went to the bathroom with you and held your hand as you walked
through the scary halls.
In second grade your idea of a good friend was the person who
helped you stand up to the class bully.
In third grade your idea of a good friend was the person who
shared their lunch with you when you forgot yours on the bus...
